This battle we’re in against fascism (i.e. gov’t control of private business) won’t be won easily. Our liberties can only be protected with extreme vigilence. For those of you who recently joined Citizen2Citizen through a friend’s request or at the Orlando Recess Rally Tea Party, welcome and thank you. Current Project: Neighborhood Blitz!

We need your help reaching your neighborhood. Please print some copies of the Neighbor Packet and tell your neighbors what is at stake in the health care bill (read the Exposure Report). Let us know of any plans you have to do a neighborhood blitz by posting to our Facebook or Ning pages (see links on the upper right). Try to schedule an informational meeting in your neighborhood’s community center. If you’re not comfortable speaking, contact me and I’ll try to arrange a speaker.

I have received invitations to speak at several different conservative activists organization meetings. I’m going to be talking about the mentoring approach to activism that has spawned this group, and what we’re planning on doing in preparation for the 2010 elections. To prepare for that, I will be putting together a series of audio messages explaining the mission of this newsletter and related groups. I will post links to those on this newsletter so that we can interact. I have also created a public website http://www.citizen2citizen.us (also conservativeaction.us) which will tie our newsletter and social sites together. This site will have announcements, searchable newsletter archives, and political commentary and humor. It will function as the public website for our organization.
